Where is Near & Far based?
Near & Far is based in Farnham, ideally positioned for events throughout Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire and the surrounding areas. Our team regularly travels throughout the South for weddings, private celebrations, corporate events and larger-scale occasions.
Can you provide a complete bar for a private estate or marquee wedding?
Absolutely. Private estates, marquees and venues without permanent bar facilities are a major part of what we do. We can provide the complete bar operation — including the physical bar, professional bartenders, glassware, equipment, drinks and bespoke cocktail menus — with everything carefully planned around your venue, guest numbers and timings.
Can we choose which Near & Far bar we have?
Yes. Our collection currently includes The Guvnor, The Harris, The Loft Bar, Laurel & Hardy, Oliver Twist, The Duke, The Brassel, Clever Mike and Rosie Lee. We’ll discuss your venue, guest numbers, styling and service requirements before recommending the setup that will work best. For larger events, we can also combine different bars and drinks stations to create a complete service throughout the venue.
Do you only provide bars for weddings?
No. Although luxury weddings are a significant part of what we do, Near & Far also provides premium bar services for private parties, corporate events, brand activations, milestone celebrations and larger-scale events.
Can you create a bespoke cocktail menu?
Absolutely. We can create a cocktail and mocktail offering specifically for your event, incorporating favourite drinks, premium spirits and personal touches while ensuring the overall menu works efficiently for your guest numbers and style of service.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Near & Far holds a 5-star food hygiene rating and full public liability insurance, with trained and experienced bar teams delivering our events. We also work closely with venues, planners and clients to ensure the appropriate licensing arrangements are in place for each event.
