TWIA - South Central Regionals 2025

We are absolutely thrilled to share that Near and Far Mobile Bar has won Best Mobile Bar in South Central for the third year in a row at the 2025 Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA)! This incredible achievement is especially meaningful to us because the awards are voted for by our amazing couples who we’ve had the privilege of serving.

The moment we were announced as the winners at the awards ceremony held on November 27, 2024, at Silchester Farm in Reading was overwhelming! We were honestly blown away, and it felt like the best possible recognition for our small, family-run business.

To reflect on our journey, we first entered the TWIA awards in 2023, winning our regional category that year. In 2024, we achieved the same honour, and to top it off, we were Nationally Commended at the National Awards in January 2024. The competition in the Best Mobile Bar category has only grown more intense over the years, so we really didn’t know what to expect this time around. To be recognised again in such a competitive field is a huge testament to our hard work and dedication to providing exceptional service.

The TWIA awards are unique in that they are the only industry awards voted for by couples, which makes this win even more special. As Damian Bailey, founder of TWIA, mentioned, the awards have become a “gold standard for wedding excellence.” This recognition really reaffirms our commitment to our couples and our industry.

Our secret to success? We believe it’s all about the client journey. From the first inquiry to the moment we say goodbye after the wedding day, we focus on delivering a personalised experience. We know how overwhelming wedding planning can be, and we take the stress out of one key area—the drinks! Our couples don’t have to worry about a thing; we take care of everything, leaving them to enjoy their special day.

For us, it’s the little things that make a big difference. Whether it’s offering a premium bartender dedicated to each couple or providing bespoke touches throughout their day, we aim to treat our couples like the VIPs they are.

As a result of our success, we’re also expanding our offerings. We’ve recently moved into our own commercial premises and are excited to introduce private cocktail and wine tastings at our Loft Bar starting in 2025. This will allow us to offer even more personalised services to our couples, further enhancing their experience.

Now, we look ahead to the National Finals of the Wedding Industry Awards in London on January 22, 2025, where we’ll compete for the title of Best Mobile Bar in the UK. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
